Erin Forward, MS, CF-SLP

Co-Host of First Bite

Erin Forward, MS CF-SLP, is a recent graduate from University of South Carolina, with a Masters in Speech Language Pathology. She completed her undergraduate degree in both Psychology and Communication Science and Disorders at the University of Pittsburgh. Her passions in the field of speech pathology lie with pediatric dysphagia, feeding, and AAC, specifically in patients with developmental disabilities. This interest came from her time working at the Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh and through her feeding experiences in practicums in a variety of settings including: early-intervention, outpatient clinics, and inpatient acute care at a children’s hospital. Working with Michelle Dawson during the summer of 2017 fueled her desire to dig deeper into pediatric dysphagia specifically and to advocate for the needs of those patients who are affected by it.

Erin Forward, MS, CF-SLP has hosted six Episodes.
